While not destroying insects as its name sake, this Mantis will thwart their attempts to gnaw on you. Pyramidal in shape, (with a bottom), the no-see-um canopy can be hung from a tarp, a tree limb or rigged from cord in a lean-to. An elastic drawcord with cordlock will snug the entry side around the sleeping bag and a 24" zipper provides easy access when you're ready to turn in. Loops for staking out at corners. 34" H x 33" W x 32" L. One person. Manufactured by Equinox in the USA. Weighs 4.5 oz.
Easy set up and no bugs!

I bought this because I now have a non-free standing tent for backpacking. In the past if it was really buggy and I was the only one in a shelter on the trail I would set the body of my tent up inside the shelter to get away from the bugs (sometimes frowned upon but I was not a shelter hog without anyone else there). I used this on a backpack on the long trail and enjoyed the fact that I could sleep and not be attacked all night by biting flies going after my head. This thing weighs almost nothing and takes minimal space in my pack. A must have for backpacking light and avoiding being dinner for biting flies.
